The digital communication and design industry is not carbon neutral. Digital represents 4% of greenhouse gas emissions on the global scale. Producing one ton of paper emits between 300 and 500kg of CO2eq.

Future obligations

As of 2024, the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is planning a carbon reporting mandate, following harmonized standards (ESRS), which control-C upholds. This applies to all European companies of over 500 employees – and to all companies in the long-term. Better get ready for it.
